I have a print out but it is all in German, but the guy spoke very good english and said the computer clearly indicated it was the Rfront and RRear sensors, no other fault codes.
I questioned him regarding the possibility of it being the ABS module.. I have checked with my fluke the ohm reading for all the sensors.. I have checked the continuity from each sensor plug back to the ABS unit to ensure there is no break in the wire all okay. I took a load of photos and plan to put a guide up may be even tonight if I do not get hooked on watching LOST. Admittely I have yet to check the relay - but if that was duff I'm sure the stealers PC would have picked up on the fact and it would have said the total system was not turned on.
Sorry to hear that you've still not managed to cure your snag. Kudos to you for writing the how 2 for cleaning the internals of the hub out, i'm sure it will help others! If you were closer i'd meet up and do a quick switch over of my ABS ecu, to help you fix your problem once and for all! Might be worth a look before you take the plunge and buy one from fleabay!
It does seem a little odd to lose both sensors on one side at the same time, after the exhaustive wiring checks you've done though, it does point to the ABS ecu unfortunately, by a process of elimination if nothing else! Thanks man I was racking my braining during dinner about an ECU swap.. I have put the ECU in the freezer You need to be a member in order to leave a comment.
